We got there pretty early around 11:30am, and parked our boats in a prime position, so we didn’t have to swim to far to refill drinks/prevent ourselves from drowning.

We organized a Catamaran, with a sound system & generator. And a Floating Dance Floor that is as much fun to push people off as it is to dance on… I play for 3 hours, 1-4 pm. So I got to mix between a few different genres, playing a with a more uplifting progressive house approach. Which was awesome because I never usually get that kind opportunity.

The vibe was incredable, you could be dancing on stage on in the water. On your boat with a bunch of mates drinking, or cruising around on some sort of floatation device thing making friends with people - who have floating cooler boxes, see old friends, meet new peeps. No ones shy, ahhh- your on a floating duck – whats your name?

The Beach bar

Party on the beach, yes please: Plett rage hired out the life guard club house, threw in a decent JBL sound system, a girls only brutal fruit VIP section, and kids with excessive Gees. and this was the result!

Who was the BEST act, at Plett Rage?

Opinions my differ, but in my humble opinion there is no question - Yes, he does looks like a garden gnome, and sounds like a cartoon character… He is Rodger Goode. His DJ set absolutely blew me away, he was pulling out all sorts of genres and styles, and putting them together into one delicious sounding mix cake. This guy might actually be the best DJ in the country:
